AN OLD PROMOTION UPDATED
In early January, a Bingo Hall in Western Canada, created and marketed a promotion they called, "Big
Shiny 90's Bingo!" Not the gay 90's, but the music, entertainment and trivia of the 1990's. Prizes and drinks
(both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) were also 1990's themed. Admission of $10 was charged for this special evening
session which gave the player a free drink and a free game to get started. Excellent publicity resulted in a sell-out
and a profitable evening.
